Forest Hill Library – Kids Advisory Board

Some of the most enthusiastic and dedicated library users in Forest Hill are the users of the Children’s and Teen’s sections of the library, and we want to make sure that they are allowed to have their say on the way the library is run, and tell us what we’re doing right or what we’re doing wrong. We know that the children’s library is in need of some TLC and we’re already working on improving the display and the furniture for both the teens and the younger kids.

As well as an advisory board of adults for the library, we are also creating a ‘Kids Advisory Board’ for the young people of Forest Hill. Our first meeting is being held on Monday the 6th of February in the children’s library at 4pm. At least one member of the Forest Hill Library board will be attending, as well as the library’s General Manager. Children of all ages are welcome, so please come along (with an accompanying adult if you are of primary school age!) and see what you can do to make the library even better.
